I think you should be forced to draft him with your next supp draft pick, same goes for Jerad Eickoff who's also over the limits for Syracuse

We don't have a rule for this kind of situation. We're going to have to vote on how to handle players on Milb rosters in the off-season.
I personally think that once the season finishes, any player over the 130/50 rule should not be able to occupy a roster spot on the Milb roster even if the player finished the season in the milbs.
For now there's nothing we can do about this. We can't force people to draft someone. And can't force them to call up players until the season starts

This is unfortunate (and sorry for being one to have one such case). If he starts the year in the majors (as well as any of the dozen or so over the limit players I see on the minor-league rosters), we'll just have to make those moves within the first couple days of the season. It is certainly something we can be more diligent with checking before MLB roster cuts and the MLB supp. draft next offseason.

honestly, i traded for santana during the offseason. He was still on the minor league team even though he was over the limits and on a MLB team. I feel like I shouldn't be punished if it was the previous owner who failed to check the AB limits. I traded for him as a minor leaguer (and I don't follow the brewers close enough to realize he was on the major league team and past limits because last I checked, he was a AAA player up till the last month of the season).

If you're putting this to a vote, I also concur with you commish, but I think you've already resolved the issue. Great job, it should work itself out a week into the season.

I feel like more importantly, someone needs to be checking for over the limit players on milb rosters before they are finalized. That, and the consequences of not doing that should be addressed, otherwise we could still end up in a similar situation next offseason regardless of any rule change

If you don't bring your player up you should lose a draft pick

I agree with this. Can we put it to a vote this offseason to go into effect for next year?

Why don't we do it now before the season starts if not it won't take effect until the 2017 season
