Currently we do not have a rule for this but it's reasonable to trade 1 year in the future. For example, if we are in the 2014 offseason/season, Managers are allowed to trade the current year and 2015 picks. This would be 1 year in the future.
The second option is to allow 2 years in the future. For example, if we are in the 2014 offseason/season, Managers are allowed to trade the current year, 2015, and 2016.

trading two years in the future can ruin a team for those whom at the bottom tend to quit our league..i mean who would wanna take over a team that sucked..and had no future picks to rebuild

I also agree. wow, what a great perspective. turnover IS high in this league at times. and it would suck to take over a bottom feeder with no picks to help them get better. excellent points.

Yeah, trading picks two years out could screw a team that changes owners. That happens all the time in real life but it would be much harder to find a replacement.

We have a majority on this poll.
We'll keep the trading of picks to one year in the future.
