There were some concerns that managers out of the playoffs shouldn't have to worry about losing players since they've checked out.
Here's how I see it:
1. We keep it the same and each manager is responsible for calling up the over the limits players for the whole season through play-offs.
2. Managers in the playoffs need to keep up with their minor league rosters and the managers that are out do not. Because the managers that are out of the playoffs don't have to keep up with their milb rosters, the managers in the playoffs will have preference to lost over the limits players. The managers in the playoffs will get first dibs on the lost players even if they have a worst waiver priority. This is the only way I can see this being fair to both sides.

i think once the regular season is over and the teams who didnt make the playoffs are done..they shouldnt have to be worried if they dont log on to check about losing top specs.. i know alot of decent specs were lost this year and last because people quit paing attention once they knew the playoffs started.. but the teams still in the playoffs should still follow lineups as they have a reason too

I think teams should be responsible for their lineups at all times. The problem comes in that everyone out of the playoffs has a bye week. Maybe implement a round for everyone out of the playoffs and the winner gets 1st overall pick? I'm sure people won't like that idea...but as a team who was out of the playoffs this year it's boring watching your players still play the game but have the stats not matter in the least bit. Anyway, just my quick two cents.
