I think we should add one more injured reserve player and add maybe 1 or 2 NOT AVAILABLE spots

I wouldn't mind an off season DL spot for tj surgery guys or whoever in addition to the keepers that we already take into next year

I agree with the Giants here. it happened 2 years ago but we abandoned this last year. If it is something we are going to debate I would like it to be done prior to the draft though as it would dramatically alter two trades i am currently working on

I agree ..but just 1 dl spot for offseason. .much more than that allows us to hold on to way to many players and makes it less interesting come mlb draft
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using proboards

The NOT AVAILABLE spots can be used for players that are the Limits of 130AB's 50IP you put them on the NA spot
so you don't have to sent down to the minors. so by error you pick up another teams player

I am against the NA spot because it's going to make things harder for me to keep track of milb'ers who have gone over. Instead of checking one site (pro boards), I'd have to check yahoo too. I like the NA slot but not in this league where we have 20 man milb rosters.
I also don't think we should add another DL slot, especially one that carries over to the offseason. I like having only 25 keepers. It forces you to make tough decisions. Trimming rosters is not supposed to be easy.
The cut I regret was letting Tyson Ross go s few years back. Damn it!!!

I hear you about the tough decisions, I cut Ventura as an a baller. But in keeping an old pitcher who spent the year out with an injury like Cain, or Lee, or CC. I'd rather not have to make that decision or at least see what they look like in spring before having to make that call.
