I have a rule proposition to make, I'm not sure how it is done in other leagues, maybe someone can add some details or parameters to my proposal.
Post-season DL
Last season, i struggled with injuries through the playoffs, as player after player would be out for the season, some with surgery even, but I was unable to place them on my team's DL because they weren't designated by their own mlb team due to the 40 man dugouts in September. So I'd be interested in creating a post-season DL of one or two spots where a player is obviously out, but you can't do anything about it to replace him on your roster. It'd probably look like the 60 day Dl. Or maybe one guy each round of the playoffs, for the week. I know rosters are deep, but at such a critical time of the year, the flexibility to add what little there is on the free agent market is appreciated. So discuss.
